KOSTKA 20-inch MAX Complete Wheel – HK 6524 RS / Remerx Dragon

Complete wheel used on KOSTKA MAX scooter models.

The wheel features a double-wall Remerx DRAGON rim equipped with the SCR safety system (reinforced rim wall) and GBS technology (machined braking surface) for improved braking performance.

KOSTKA wheels use proprietary KOSTKA hubs, developed for high performance as well as easy maintenance. The industrial bearings are mounted with a floating design that ensures permanent and precise preload, eliminating the need for complicated bearing adjustment.

The one-piece hub design allows the hub to be removed easily for maintenance. The internal hub construction contains no threads or other stress concentrators, which improves durability and reduces the risk of fatigue failure. KOSTKA hubs are CNC-machined from high-strength aluminum alloy.

To take full advantage of straight-pull spokes, KOSTKA developed a radial hub design specifically for straight spokes. The reinforced spoke mounting area allows the wheel to be tensioned to higher spoke tension.

If a spoke is damaged, it can be replaced easily without special tools, as the spokes are not secured with threads at the hub end. Compared with J-bend spokes, straight-pull spokes provide greater strength at the mounting point. The straight-spoke design also increases wheel stiffness and contributes to better riding performance.

The wheel is equipped with a high-quality NTN LLU-5K bearing made in Japan, providing excellent reliability, durability, and long service life with minimal maintenance. Low-friction seals offer maximum protection against dirt and contamination, and the bearing is filled with special long-lasting grease.
